My Favorite Sandwich of ALL time!
Get those Whole Wheat Sandwich Thins in the grocery store (by the bread and the buns).
Toast the sandwich thin.
Top with 1/4 - 1/2 of a fresh avocado, turkey, tomato, and alfalfa spouts.
The whole sandwich is 230 calories.
Perfection!
oooh la la! I just had a turkey sandwich on whole wheat today too- but I lacked the sprouts and tomato. The avocado was great though. DO you pass on the condiments? I almost did- and I think I will next time- but my mayo only has .5 g saturated fat and 1 gm polyunsaturated- so I thought it was okay to add. Plus mustard.
ReplyDeleteI never really liked condiments to begin with. I don't like wet ewey gooey stuff making my sandwich fall apart because it's too greasy. The avocado gives it just the right amount of "creamy greasy." Besides, you put mayo and mustard on everything, all your sandwiches start to taste the same.
